The goal of this section is for districts to document or set goals to ensure equitable access to technology for all students.
In the narrative explain the district's policy for distributing technology. If there is not equitable access to technology by all students (eg. special education, regular education, GATE) then set goals and measurable objectives for equitable access during the course of this technology plan. This is often accomplished by setting a goal for student-to-computer ratios.
Guiding Questions
- How can technology be used to extend the school day for students and to make learning resources available outside of school hours?
- What steps can the school district take to ensure equitable access to technology for all students regardless of their academic standing, socioeconomic level, proficiency in English, or disabilities?

The goal of this section is to set goals, measurable objectives, annual benchmarks, and an implementation plan for staff to use technology to make student record-keeping and assessments more efficient and supportive for meeting individual student academic needs.
In the narrative describe how administrators and teachers will use technology, such as the Student Information System (eg. Power School) or Electronic Learning Assessment Resource (eg. EduSoft) to make student record-keeping and assessment more efficient. Also explain how technology will enable teachers to meet individual student academic needs. It helps to include a table detailing the goals, objectives, benchmarks, and implementation plan.

Power School), Content Management Systems (eg. School Loop), or Auto Dialers (eg. TeleConnect) to improve home-school communication.
